Birthday Celebration

The last Saturday in February we went over to celebrate several P family birthdays. Mimi's Leap Day birthday was coming up later that week, and we all enjoyed pizza and cake and time to visit around the table.

RL took his seat next to PawPaw and they had a good visit.

We also went by and found some treasures at Mimi and PawPaw's house. RL liked this combination and as usual, insisted on wearing his hat low over his eyes.

SJ has become our bravest-of-all lizard catcher! Several months back, she came running through the house to me with one dangling from her fingers...she'd caught it in her room. Since then she has enjoyed hunting and catching them outside (and she is the one I call if I see one when T's not home!). It's one of those things that makes me think I just can't believe she's my child, but I am SO proud of her! :)

Mardi Gras Plus

The Friday night before Mardi Gras we went to a low-key neighborhood parade. Thankfully T has a friend who lives on the route, so we were able to enjoy it with all the amenities important for little ones readily available!

Warm Winter Catch-up

As I'm looking through these pictures, I realize that in alot of them the kids are dressed like it's summer. But then in the midst of those there'll be one where someone is bundled up in a big coat. It's been a weird-weather winter, but I am not complaining about warm days and sunshine, ever! Anyway, here's a big parade of our life from mid-January through mid-February:
