We started this month by celebrating my mom's birthday with a weekend away with her and my dad. They'd planned for us to spend a few nights in a nearby town in a B&B, and it was lots of fun. Here are the girls with Gran on her birthday night, all ready for bed. AG actually got to sleep in the bed in this picture, which she called her "princess bed."
We were blessed with beautiful weather and enjoyed lots of walks around town. Here are the girls setting out with PopPop.
On Saturday morning we toured a nearby plantation house and grounds. It was pretty neat and the girls seemed to like it, especially the farm animals. There was a huge pig and a turkey that strutted right up to us, showing off. LL was very clear about not liking the turkey but she couldn't stop looking at it or talking about it...kind of like her response to Santa.
